Notice of Settlement Relief Survey for Post-Class Exhibit C Borrowers

If you are a post class applicant who attended an Exhibit C school who did NOT receive a decision on or before January 28, 2026, then you are entitled to Full Settlement Relief. If you are not sure whether you received a decision, please check all email inboxes you have access to and all of your spam/junk/deleted folders for messages from the Department of Education (usually from noreply@studentaid.gov) and make sure your contact information is up to date on studentaid.gov.

The Department is now required to send you an official notice of your entitlement to settlement relief. You should receive that notice in your email by March 30, 2026. You will receive your Full Settlement Relief within one year of the notice email.

Please fill out this form for each of your borrower defense applications relating to an Exhibit C school for which you did not receive a notice of entitlement to settlement relief by March 30.
